Red House Cemetery
This is a look at our family cemetery, Red House Cemetery, with graves dating back to the 1800's. The name comes from the land owned by Daniel Teachey Sr., whose plantation was called Red House Plantation or Red House Meadow. We have a Revolutionary War Veteran, Daniel Teachey Jr. in this cemetery. His grave is pictured. Through him, we are able to obtain DAR (Daughters of the Revolution) or SAR (Sons of the Revolution) membership. I am providing a link so you can see all the graves in this lovely cemetery. Click on view photos, in the link, to see the headstones in this cemetery.
